Getting things right

Although this is in my ranting section, most of this is about stuff that companies can do for their employees that are positive and really help. It's in the ranting section because it is so rare that companies do these kind of things.

Do:

provide free food.
provide free tea/coffee.
have flexible hours.
fit the building with air conditioning.
provide the building with enough meeting rooms.
provide access to the Internet.

Don't:

have open plan offices.
have Dilbert-style cubicles.
use a tannoy.
