I am compiling a list of reasons why I am no longer a Christian.
- The god of the Bible is repugnant.
If it does exist there is no reason to worship it other than fear.
This is related to the problem of evil.
- The resurrection of Jesus is not evident.
- Natural laws are the rules that govern the structure and
behavior of the natural universe, that the changing universe at every
stage is a product of these laws.
- The Bible is not reliable.
- Things that are held to be true by a religion are confined to
that religion (they are not acknowledged to be universally true)
and which one you believe in is governed mainly by
where you were born.
